Peller and Jarvis Sharing Honeymoon Moments From Tanzania

 


            Newlyweds Peller (Habeeb Hamzat) and Jarvis (Elizabeth Amadou) have jetted               off to Tanzania for their honeymoon, about three weeks after their highly publicised             wedding.

 Romantic getaway: The couple have been sharing clips of themselves relaxing together, enjoying their hotel surroundings, ocean scenery and what Peller called the 

“real village vibe” of Tanzania.

  •  Business-class trip: Jarvis thanked Peller’s mother for making their business-class upgrade possible, noting that it was their first experience travelling in that cabin.

  •  Playful newlywed moments: Their videos show plenty of affection and playful interactions as they enjoy their first major trip as husband and wife. 

  •  More travel planned: Before the wedding, Peller had said he hoped their honeymoon would span eight countries, with Tanzania becoming the first major destination.

  •  Peller’s message: He described the trip as a chance for them to enjoy love, peace and   beautiful memories away from the pressure surrounding their wedding.

          The Tanzania trip follows their civil wedding on July 29, traditional wedding on                  August 1, and white wedding on August 8, 2026.

Nigerian Govt suspends WAEC, NECO fees hike amid backlash

 The Federal Government has suspended the proposed increase in registration fees for the 2027 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Examination after widespread public criticism. According to the Federal Ministry of Education: The June 18, 2026 letter approving the fee adjustment has been withdrawn . The suspension is intended to allow for broader consultations with key stakeholders before any final decision is made. Those to be consulted include examination bodies, state ministries of education, school owners, parents' associations, organised labour, and other education stakeholders. The proposed policy would have raised the registration fee for both WAEC and NECO to ₦50,000 per candidate from 2027—an increase from about ₦27,000 for WAEC and ₦30,000 for NECO .   The Lagos State High Court sitting in Tapa has dismissed a preliminary objection filed by DNJ Properties and Investment Limited in a N200 million lawsuit brought by subscriber Olufemi Odiri over an alleged breach of a property sale contract. The ruling means the substantive case will now proceed to trial. According to the suit, Odiri claims he paid N50 million in full for a two-bedroom apartment in Ikate, Lekki, after being assured that all approvals for the development had been obtained.
