Content creator and streamer, Carter Efe, has claimed that social media personalities Peller and Jarvis were pressured into getting married, expressing his belief that the couple could eventually regret the decision.
Carter made the claim during a recent podcast appearance, where he also opened up about his absence from the couple’s highly publicised wedding.
According to him, he was not invited to the ceremony, adding that he expects the couple to reconsider their decision when the attention surrounding their relationship eventually fades.
“I wasn’t invited to Peller and Jarvis’ wedding. I think they were pressured into getting married, and I believe they’ll regret it in four years when they realise that the internet doesn’t really care about them that much,” he said.
Carter’s comments come amid his long-running strained relationship with Peller, with both content creators frequently engaging in public banter and rivalry, particularly over their achievements in the streaming space.
The controversy surrounding Carter’s absence from the wedding also featured claims that he had been deliberately prevented from attending the ceremony.
During the wedding festivities, media personality Tunde Perry alleged that Carter’s pictures were pasted around the venue to prevent anyone from allowing him into the event.
Peller also reportedly confirmed during a conversation with Perry that Carter had been barred from attending his wedding.
Carter and Peller have previously collaborated but have since been involved in several public disagreements.
Their clashes have included a heated discussion over Peller’s decision to take Jarvis on a vacation to the Maldives
During another livestream, Carter criticised Peller over his relationship with his mother, arguing that Peller should prioritise his mother over his partner.
Carter also claimed that Peller did not take adequate care of his mother, citing her continued use of a BlackBerry phone.
Peller, however, defended himself, saying he gives his mother whatever she asks for and questioned some of Carter’s expectations regarding the relationship between a mother and her adult son.
The latest comments have added another layer to the public rivalry between the two content creators, coming shortly after Peller and Jarvis formalised their relationship in a widely followed wedding ceremony.
