I’d love to return to school, get a degree — Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has revealed that he hopes to return to school and earn a university degree after his football career, saying education remains an important personal goal despite his success on the pitch.

Speaking in an interview with Instablog TV, the Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker said:

"As an adult, not everything I learned in school. There are some kinds of life lessons you encounter through life's journey."

Osimhen explained that a football career is relatively short and believes it is important to prepare for life after retirement.

He said:

"For me, it would be an amazing thing to also try to get a degree, which I'm still considering because football, you won't play for so long, probably 20, 25 years, and then you're done."

The 27-year-old added that obtaining a degree would not only be a personal achievement but would also inspire younger people who may have had to pause their education due to financial or personal challenges.

"Even though you dropped out due to some kind of challenges you have, it's something you can always go back to. School is always there."

Osimhen did not disclose when he plans to enroll in university or what course he intends to study. However, his comments have been widely praised as an encouragement that education remains valuable regardless of career success.
